Sign Standards

Signs are part of the landscape at WVU, and as such, they can detract from or enhance the University’s appearance.

The Sign Committee was reinstituted in 2011. All exterior signs, banners, flags, posters, etc. for WVU facilities and grounds are subject to review and approval by committee members. Our goal is to develop signage standards and wayfinding for WVU that are user friendly, aesthetically pleasing and help to further the University’s mission and brand.
