Our Services

WVU Interior Design Management is housed under the division of WVU Facilities Planning, Design, Construction and Scheduling. Our goal is to provide the WVU community with quality design services that enhance the areas where you learn, work and collaborate. We select furnishings and finishes that represent the University's brand and mission – to create a diverse and inclusive culture.

Key functions that help us achieve this goal are:

• Working closely with campus planners, architects, engineers, contractors and project managers to find the best solutions for projects large and small
• Maintaining the WVU Standards and Guidelines for paint, flooring, furniture, interior signage and exterior furnishings
• Working with vendors to select products that best suite our facilities and each department’s unique needs
• Utilizing purchasing contracts through WVU Procurement to ensure the best prices for products purchased in volume
• Upholding the Space Allocation Guidelines established by the Planning Committee
• Consulting with WVU Environmental Health and Safety ergonomist to evaluate individual work place needs and recommend tools to help reduce risk of job related injuries and increase job efficiency
